Prime Video in February 2026: 5 arrivals you need to know about

If you were one of the biggest and best streaming services in the world, you know that every single calendar month you face the same challenge of making sure your subscribers stay happy and don’t cancel, February might seem like a very tall order.
After all, it’s popularly the shortest month of the year, which means you have less time than usual to position your releases for maximum impact. For the viewer, however, it’s good news – a veritable flood of new releases. I’ve taken a look at everything that went down the pike in Amazon Prime Video’s busiest month, and picked out five highlights that you’ll want to know about if you’re a member.
56 days
Watch it open
- Streaming from: 18 February
The golden age of sensationalism is arguably long gone, but that doesn’t mean people don’t want it anymore – and Prime Video seems wise to that fact. Lately, 56 daysit looks like it’s going to tell a story that goes to places you can’t predict, with a fun central mystery.
After a whirlwind romance, someone ends up dead in a luxury apartment, but the body cannot be identified, leading to a race against time for detectives to find out who the victim is. Expect steamy love scenes, brutal revelations, and a web of lies – sounds good, right?
The Cross Season 2
Watch it open
- Streaming from: 6 February
Prime Video has also made it a really impressive destination for those looking for memorable detective characters – with heroes like Jack Reacher and Harry Bosch setting things up for a while. The cross is one of the best in the genre, and the main man is back for another season in early February.
This time, it looks like the budget may have gone up, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, and Cross himself will have to face another brutal lawsuit. A serial killer slashes the fingers of their victims, and Cross has everything against him as he tries to figure out who might be responsible.
Love Me Love Me
Watch it open
- Streaming from: 13 February
Another great looking option for those looking for romance in their lives, Love Me Love Me it will drop on the eve of Valentine’s Day, which seems like smart timing from Prime Video. It might work, too, as this remake echoes some of the plot details from previous hits.
It sees a young woman forced to move her life to a new country as she joins a prestigious private school and almost immediately falls into the throes of a love triangle. Forced into the classic choice between a bad boy and someone who might be too clean, drama is guaranteed to ensue.
Paul McCartney: Man on the Run
Watch it open
- Streaming from: 27 February
Fans of The Beatles have done very well in recent years, with go back some highlights about the archived images. Those who want to know more about Paul McCartney specifically will now have their moment in the spotlight, however, thanks to a documentary that focuses on him.
In fact, it’s more clear than that, as the film seems to focus on his time starting his solo career after the breakup of his world-famous band. With some of the biggest hits yet to come out of that era, it should be an eye-opening look at life in the spotlight, and musical talent.
The Gray House
- Streaming from: 26 February
This is interesting – a series that looks very interesting and brings you closer to an impossible story, but one that Amazon has not followed at all. That hasn’t stopped the hype building, though, and it looks like it could be a hit if the stars align.
It looks at how some brave women used the underground railroad in Confederate territory as a vehicle for secret messages and espionage work. So the stakes are quickly and obviously very high, which should make its drama even higher as the bad guys get closer to finding out what’s going on.
