It’s not every day you get to sit down with Sienna Miller. However, a few months ago, an opportunity arose to work with Sienna herself that I couldn’t refuse. I was lucky enough to chat with this star (stay tuned for the full interview) and ask her all my burning beauty questions.
It may sound strange, but another topic I wanted to discuss was the best candles. Why? Well, I’m hoping to go later this year, and I’m already obsessed with the interior design. In my opinion, a sophisticated candle is the perfect finishing touch to any room, so I had to ask Sienna (my go-to chicness oracle) about her go-to scent.

Funny thing is, her favorite candle is actually one of my favorites, too. In true Sienna style, it comes from none other than the French fragrance brand, Diptyque. Of course, when I asked her what her favorite candle was, she said, “I love Diptyque Baies, I love that one.”

The smell
This is one of my favorite Diptyque fragrances of all time. Baies means berries in French, so you’d probably expect this candle to smell juicy and sweet, but what I love about it is that it’s also fresh and green, which the label describes as “freshly picked blackcurrants, some still with leaves and stems.” It has an earthy element that makes any room feel instantly refreshed, alongside the undertones of rose that add a rich, luxurious scent.
In my opinion, this candle would work perfectly anywhere in the house. I currently have one burning in my living room, and it makes my whole apartment smell like a luxury Parisian hotel.
The package
Diptyque candles are as beautiful to look at as they are to burn. Yes, they are one of the most expensive options on the market (we actually rate them as one of the best luxury candles ever), but the good thing is that once you finish the candle itself, you can clean the vessel and use it as decoration. I have a few empty candles in my apartment, and I like to use them to store cotton wool and cotton balls in my bathroom. In fact, whenever my friends come over, they always comment on how chic it looks.
I don’t have much in common with Sienna Miller, but I can sleep happy knowing our candle preferences are the same…
