Every month is a big month for Netflix, but I think the first few of each calendar year are the most vulnerable for the world’s largest streaming service. After the free time we all enjoyed at the end of the year, as February begins things tend to be normal and busy.
People still have time to stream of course, but it’s a little harder for streaming platforms to hold their attention, which means they need to shout louder about what’s new. is something it arrives. Netflix is pretty reliable about that, though, which made it easy for me to pick the five highlights you’ll find below — each with a detailed release date, too, so you know when to look for it.
Bridgerton Season 4 (Part 2)

One of Netflix’s biggest ongoing shows (RIP Stranger Things) dropped the first half of its fourth season at the end of January, and you’ll have to wait until the end of February to pick up the story. This season is just as intense as its predecessors, but there’s probably more weirdness than usual, thanks to the “downstairs, basement” type of romance plot.
Sophie Baek is the latest protagonist to fall out of love in the middle of the plot, and she manages to catch the eye of someone other than Benedict Bridgerton, leaving the pair of them in a pickle. Society in this area may be welcoming in many ways, but it is still cruel at times, and their class-crossing love is in danger.
Lincoln Lawyer Season 4

This legal drama has perhaps been a little quieter in terms of publicity than other Netflix shows, but it continues to run wild in popularity, as evidenced by the fact that it is getting a fourth season in a few days. This season looks like it has the highest numbers yet.
Mickey, once a man on trial rather than an interrogator – he’s been arrested for a murder he didn’t commit, and that means his access to evidence and time to think will be slim to none. Expect some clever revelations as he struggles to prove his innocence, and perhaps a hint of the wider corruption in the system around him.
Night Agent Season 3

Not to be confused with the return of The Night Manager on the BBC and Prime Video (although it was undoubtedly originally conceived with some inspiration from that show), this returning series tells a fun and slightly dark story, starring Gabriel Basso as its protagonist Peter Sutherland. He is a highly skilled agent, and this time it seems that he is investigating a major terrorist threat.
That means secret meetings with journalists, explosive car chases, brutal shootouts and the gradual exposure of a web of lies and spies. Whether its frame can carry all that weight will be interesting to see when the series of episodes begins in a few weeks.
Formula 1: Drive to Survive Season 8

One of the biggest Netflix shows, certainly one of the most popular documentaries, and perhaps one of the main reasons for the great growth of Formula 1 in recent years, Drive to Survive it’s always an appointment viewing for racing fans. This year we don’t have a trailer at the time of writing, but the season should give us a look at a twisted title race.
Lando Norris ended up winning with McLaren, but given how much time he spent in second place behind team-mate Oscar Piastri, there will be some explosive things to see. Was the relationship as good behind the scenes as McLaren claimed? And how did Max Verstappen’s late rush to challenge factor into things? We’ll find out later in the month.
Strip Law

Don’t bet on this one – it might be better than some of the shows I’ve highlighted this month, but Netflix quietly has a pretty good track record when it comes to animated series. Strip Law looks like a doozy, looking at life in Las Vegas through the eyes of an angry local attorney told by. Separationby Adam Scott.
It looks like it might have some of them Bojack Horseman to it, although it sounds like a light-hearted tone, and if it can call for some success of that show then it will be doing a good job already. Don’t be surprised if you find people telling you to sleep in a few months.
